M—BOX / LIVE ARCHIVE

Next time, who would you like
beside you in the audience?

Look at the singers and audience sharing this scene. Picture a drink you enjoy beside you and a friend you have been meaning to catch up with. Or just yourself, taking time to really listen.

M-BOX brings together a chapter of Shanghai’s music history, a stage with current performances, and a meeting place in L+Mall’s rooftop garden. Watch a real clip, then choose a date and set: give “let’s meet sometime” an evening of its own.

Why set aside
an evening for M-BOX?

A story with something you can check before leaving: real performance footage, dated artist schedules and a menu with prices. Choose what you want to hear and drink, then plan the evening.

01

Visiting Shanghai

After the skyline, hear a little of the city.

Follow your Lujiazui sightseeing with a live set in L+Mall’s rooftop garden. M-BOX’s brand story reaches back to 1999; today’s performers and audience add to that musical memory. Give Shanghai a set of your time, and take home more than photographs.

Business in Lujiazui · Solo visits

Make time beyond the hotel and meeting room.

You do not need a whole group to come for music you like. Choose a performer’s set, check menu prices, then ask about an individual bar seat or another suitable spot. Alcohol-free choices are available too. Give your business trip an evening you look forward to for yourself.

Friends · Informal business gatherings

Turn “sometime” into a song you hear together.

Bring friends or colleagues after dinner and make the performance a shared experience. Listen, then talk about the moments you liked. For uninterrupted quiet conversation, ask the venue about suitable times and areas first; amplified performances make this different from a quiet meeting room.

For evenings where live music is part of the gathering. Performances use amplified sound; please discuss your needs first if you require sustained quiet or confidential conversation.

02 / The M-BOX story

The story continues.
Come hear the next part.

M-BOX’s brand story reaches back to 1999. Today’s Lujiazui venue is a place where you can still hear live music. “A living archive of Shanghai’s music” is also an invitation to take a seat: hear the city’s musical story and make the evening your own.

A 2017 singing-contest announcement offered M-BOX residency opportunities. The brand’s musical memory also includes a stage for emerging voices. 2017 ↗

1999 refers to the brand’s reported origins, not the opening of this Lujiazui venue. “Archive” is a brand metaphor, not a museum or exhibition.

How could your first evening unfold?

01

Watch before you choose

A past performance shows the relationship between the stage and audience. The clip is archival; confirm your preferred style, songs or singer for the date you plan to visit.

02

Leave time for one set

Check the start and finish for your chosen date, then fit a set after dinner or into your itinerary. Set lengths follow that day’s schedule; they are not minimum stays or charging periods.

03

Ask for seating that suits your group

Solo visitors can ask about individual bar seats; groups can ask about lounge seating or booths. Mention stage proximity, conversation or outdoor seating, then confirm availability and access.

Sightlines and sound vary by area. A rooftop-garden address does not promise a city view from every seat; outdoor seating also depends on weather and which areas are open.

05 / There is room for a daytime gathering, too
